Do you find it difficult to drink water? We hear drink 1-2 quarts of water daily. Plain water really doesn’t have any taste, so why not make infused water with fruits and herbs!
After being on a recent health call I decided I need to get more water in daily. Our bodies are approximately 70% water. I decided to make a pot of lemon water with a few drops of stevia and that’s my new go to.
Benefits of homemade infused water:
- Lower calories than sodas and calorie laden coffee drinks.
- Decreased sugar intake compared to other drinks.
- Spend time drinking water rather than snacking.
- A cleaner inside can reflect on glowing skin
Method
- Choose fresh organic herbs and fruit
- Wash herbs and fruit
- Cut ingredients and add to a pitcher of water
- Let sit 2-3 hours for flavors to infuse
- Keep water cold
- Discard water after 24 hours or less.
Combination ideas
- Orange π Blueberry, basil πΏ
- Lemon π cucumber π₯ mint
- Cucumber, lime, strawberry π mint
- Lemon π plain stevia in hot water. (Alternative to s cold drink).
