Hydration Station


Do you find it difficult to drink water?   We hear drink 1-2 quarts of water daily.  Plain water really doesn’t have any taste, so why not make infused water with fruits and herbs!

After being on a recent health call I decided I need to get more water in daily.  Our bodies are approximately 70% water. I decided to make a pot of lemon water with a few drops of stevia and that’s my new go to.  

Benefits of homemade infused water:

  • Lower calories than sodas and calorie laden coffee drinks. 
  • Decreased sugar intake compared to other drinks. 
  • Spend time drinking water rather than snacking. 
  • A cleaner inside can reflect on glowing skin
Method
  • Choose fresh organic herbs and fruit 
  • Wash herbs and fruit 
  • Cut ingredients and add to a pitcher of water 
  • Let sit 2-3 hours for flavors to infuse 
  • Keep water cold 
  • Discard water after 24 hours or less. 
Combination ideas 
  • Orange 🍊 Blueberry, basil 🌿 
  • Lemon πŸ‹ cucumber πŸ₯’ mint 
  • Cucumber, lime, strawberry πŸ“ mint
  • Lemon πŸ‹ plain stevia in hot water. (Alternative to s cold drink).
